Chase E. Griffin
MSW, LSW
I have made it my career goal to help others during their most vulnerable moments. To me therapy should be about improving yourself. My hope is to help navigate the issues in your life so you have the confidence to tackle life's issues whatever they may be. At the end of the day, therapy should give you the tools necessary to have a greater sense of freedom and fulfillment.
I have been working in the mental health field for 12 years. I specialize in working with youth age 12 and older, parents, and family dynamics. I also work with adults. The mental health issues I specialize in are: depression and suicidal thoughts/ideation, self-harming behaviors, anxiety, trauma history or disorders, oppositional defiance, ADHD, parenting, peer relationships, self-esteem, sexual abuse, and sexually problematic behaviors. I also specialize in family reintegration and boundary setting.
My treatment approach is based around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is trauma focused, and I also use family systems. I use a Client Centered approach and strength based techniques. I can give you a foundation for managing your life and emotions. I love instilling self-confidence and helping you feel and cope with feelings.
